铜鎏金四臂观音像为明中期宫廷造像,为御用监佛作作品。此鎏金铜观音一头四臂,主臂两手作合掌印,另外两手右手持念珠,左手持莲花,结跏趺坐在莲花座上。其头戴弯月形宝冠,装饰华美,双耳挂大耳珰,袒上身,下着裙,结跏趺坐于仰覆莲束腰莲座。菩萨的腰部以上呈扇形,小腹部紧收,脐窝深陷,富有弹性。莲花座莲瓣优美清瘦,如菊花瓣,富有动感。莲花瓣造型、技法写实,不在顶端再加卷云装饰的莲花瓣做法,在永宣宫廷造像中极为罕见,是当时西藏、尼泊尔造像中莲瓣的风格。为明代宫廷造像中的稀见之品。
The bronze armored four-armed Guanyin image is a court statue in the middle of the Ming Dynasty. This gilt bronze Guanyin has four arms, the main arm is hand-printed, and the other two hands hold the rosary, the left hand holds the lotus, and the knot sits on the lotus seat. The head is wearing a crescent moon crown, decorated with gorgeous, double ears and big ears, squatting on the upper body, under the skirt, and sitting on the lotus roots and rosettes. The Buddha's waist is fan-shaped above, the small abdomen is tight, and the umbilical fossa is deep and elastic. Lotus lotus petals are beautiful and thin, such as chrysanthemum petals, full of dynamic. The lotus petal shape and technique are realistic. The lotus petal method, which is not decorated with cirrus clouds at the top, is extremely rare in the Yongxuan court statues. It is the style of the lotus petals in Tibet and Nepal. It is a rare product in the court statues of the Ming Dynasty.
