盘口，长颈，瘦腹，台足，颈部两侧各附一象首环耳。形制高大魁伟。胎质洁白，釉色透明，青花色泽靓丽浓艳。自口至足共绘八道纹饰，分别为缠枝菊花、蕉叶、云凤、缠枝莲、人物、凤纹、缠枝牡丹以及回文，层次清晰，繁而不乱，。它造型精美雄浑，其纹饰的历史的、哲学的、人文的艺术价值高。是中国瓷器史上的巅峰之作。 与英国伦敦大维德中国美术馆藏不同之处该瓶颈部铭文為至正三年所制，底部画回文但显然出自同一画师和工匠。此瓶为一对，是现存海外最为重要和珍贵的元代釉里红青花描金瓷器。
