梅瓶唇口，丰肩，肩下渐收至底足，足部微撇，带盖，盖上宝珠钮。丰肩上饰如意云头纹开光，内绘芦雁穿花图。肩下及腹下各绘两道弦纹，中间纹饰为大朵缠枝牡丹纹。再下绘一圈卷草纹，足上部一圈变形莲瓣纹。盖上亦为变形莲瓣纹。梅瓶周身釉色青灰，青花发色为宝石蓝色，是为元代青花的至正发色。足底无釉，有淡淡火石红色。
典型元代青花瓷器使用从伊朗卡善地区进口的上等青料描绘纹饰，笔法娴熟，线条流畅，用笔豪放，纹饰优美。青花发色浓艳。多见大件器物，且多出口到中东、印度地区。此件梅瓶皆为此种类型。
