珐琅彩器，指在养心殿御作坊制成的彩绘铜、瓷及料器。养心殿毗邻帝王住处，便于圣上直接检察成品。康熙时期，欧洲艺匠进宫谒见，推动珐琅作的成立及新色研发，宫廷御作遂在江西景德镇烧制之白瓷上绘珐琅彩料，制作精致华美的御瓷。作坊临近宫廷画院，中外画师也曾奉命在器上绘图添彩。受西洋画师直接影响，彩瓷绘饰甚具洋风，着重模仿自然，以光影明暗营造质感、深度及透视。
本品瓶，盘口，收颈，足圈。精致娇小，彩色浓艳，绘工繁复，画技精良，并全手工绘画，瓶身开光，绘神话「十八罗汉」故事人物。
拍品各处描金，开光人物栩栩如生，西洋画风与中国文化相结合，瓶身亦印章【珍】【宝】实属不世之作。
