《古玉圖考》是玉器文化史上一部有重要價值的著作，於光緒十五年吳大澄書於濟寧節署，書中以圖文並茂的形式，對古玉進行了考證、介紹，把古玉器的考據研究同古代歷史的研究聯繫了起來。每一類玉器均繪有附圖，共錄玉器近 200件，其圖由吳大澄族弟吳大楨繪制，圖後按類附有器物尺寸、名稱、用途、年代的文字說明。此書對研究中國古代玉器有較高參考價值。

"The Ancient Jade Picture Examination" is a book of great value in the history of jade culture. In the fifteenth year of Guangxu's reign, Wu Dacheng's book was written in the Jining Festival. In the book, the ancient jade was researched and introduced in the form of illustrations. Textual research is linked to the study of ancient history. Each type of jade is painted with drawings, and nearly 200 pieces of jade are recorded. The picture is drawn by Wu Dacheng, Wu Dacheng's family. The figure is followed by the description of the size, name, purpose and age of the object. This book has a high reference value for the study of ancient Chinese jade.
