这件作品，画面绘寿星、八仙、仙鹤等，寿星乘鹤而来，八仙拱手仰望中有芝兰玉树，仙鹤灵鹿。台阁中八仙各执法器，互相致意。更是吴昌硕罕见的人物画。笔笔扎实沉着，力透纸背，毫无轻盈飘浮之感。行笔无棱角，柔中带刚，酣畅淋漓，给人以古朴、雅拙之感。笔力生辣苍劲，一气呵成，尺幅巨大，尤为难得。此画更是吴昌硕晚年之作更达炉火纯青之地，恣肆烂漫出入化境。其绘画纯以书法为之，整纸豪迈苍劲，落拓不羁。与吴昌硕以往画风大相径庭，是难得的佳作。

This painting is even more of Wu Changshuo’s work in his later years. The painting is purely calligraphy, and the whole paper is bold and vigorous. It is a rare masterpiece that is quite different from Wu Changshuo’s previous style of painting.
