此件红山玉猪龙，龙体蜷曲，首尾相连，头尾之间的缺口未完全断开，器体厚重，造型粗犷。猪首形象刻划逼真，肥首大耳，大眼阔嘴，吻部前突，口微张，露出獠牙，面部以阴刻线表现眼圈、皱纹。中央的环孔光滑，背部有一可穿绳系挂的小孔。玉猪龙是身份和地位的象征，也是目前所知时代最早的龙形器物之一。
