瓷胎画珐琅是清代皇室自用瓷器中最具有特色，釉上彩瓷中最为精美的彩瓷器。从康熙的色浓庄重至雍正的清淡素雅，到乾隆时的精密繁复的雍容华贵，使珐琅这一洋味十足的彩料在瓷器上得到淋漓尽致的表现。此拍品通体施白釉，口沿“描金”，颈满饰“胭脂红缠枝花卉纹”，肩亦绘“金圈”，以“莲瓣纹”为足。腹部主纹饰为“缠枝牡丹纹”，牡丹花心大。花瓣小而密，整体饱满小巧，形态不一，似美人之万姿，亦有诗文显我中华文化。集中西风韵于一体，画尽了皇家身份的高贵与荣华，此对天球瓶形态端庄秀美，极具收藏价值，为“彩中皇后，瓷中公主”。
