李可染（1907—1989），江蘇徐州人，，現代著名中國畫大師之壹，具有個人風格的山水畫家，現代“京津畫派”最重要的代表人物之壹。與陸儼少並稱“北李南陸”。畫家齊白石的弟子，歷任中央美術學院教授， 中國美術家協會副主席、中國畫研究院院長。
其山水畫早年取法八大，筆致簡率酣暢，後從齊白石習畫，用筆趨於凝練。又從黃賓虹處學得積墨法，並在寫生中參悟林風眠風景畫前亮後暗的陰影處理方式。畫風趨於謹嚴，筆墨趨於沈厚，至晚年用筆趨於老辣。亦善畫牛，筆墨頗有拙趣。

Li Keran (1907-1989), a native of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, is a master of modern Chinese painting masters. He has a personal style of landscape painter and the most important representative figure of the modern “Beijing-Tianjin School”. He is also known as "North Li Nan Lu". The disciple of the painter Qi Baishi has served as a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, and dean of the Chinese Painting Academy.
His landscape paintings were taken in the early eight years, and the pens were simple and smooth. Afterwards, they learned from Qi Baishi and used pens to concise. He also learned the ink-collecting method from Huang Binhong, and realized the dark shadow treatment method before the Lin Fengmian landscape painting in the sketch. The style of painting tends to be strict, the pen and ink tends to be thick, and in the later years, the pen tends to be hot. Also good at painting cows, pen and ink is quite interesting.
